In the morning, a Mesoamerica Travel representative will be waiting for you at your hotel, and will transfer you to the direct service bus to Copán. On the 3-hours drive to Copán, you travel through beautiful countryside. The rest of the afternoon is left free to enjoy, and explore the picturesque village of Copán.  Accommodations in Copán Ruinas for two days.

Visit to Copán’s Archaeological Park, located 30 minute walk from the village. While visiting the ruins, you will learn about the amazing 63-step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs, and the masterfully carved Stelae.
Your private Mesoamerica Travel Guide welcomes you around 09:00 am at the hotel. Together you will depart from Copán Ruinas for the Guatemalan Caribbean coast. On the way, we will visit the  Quiriguá archaeological site. At mid afternoon we arrive at Río Dulce, an exceptionally rich ecological area.  Accommodations in Río Dulce for two days.
This morning the adventure will take place by boat through one of our more prestigious natural beauties: Río Dulce.

The small village of Livingston is located in the Guatemalan Caribbean coast, and it is famous for its exclusive blend of cultures such as Garifuna, Afro-Caribbean, Maya and Latino. After an interesting excursion we return to our hotel in the afternoon, where you can relax at the pool, or enjoy the view onto the river.

Continue through the Guatemalan Caribbean driving through scenic landscapes, and banana plantations. After crossing the border with Honduras at Corinto, we reach the next Caribbean beach village, which is Omoa. We proceed to Tela located at Honduras’ Caribbean coast. Accommodations in Tela for two days.
Free day to enjoy the atmosphere of Tela, and its sandy beaches. Nowadays Tela is famous for its beaches, and the beauty of its protected areas. Among Tela’s protected areas are Punta Sal and Punta Izopo National Park, the Botanical Garden, Lancetilla and Texiguat Wildlife Refuge. Optional activities can be organized.
Return to San Pedro Sula. End of the program, or extension of your stay with another of our itineraries.

Light colored cotton clothing is essential when you visit the Caribbean coast and other lowland areas. Sweaters or a jacket are a must if you are staying in the mountains.
